Dante Wesley is on his way to pats (update).

Cornerback Dante Wesley, meanwhile, was not at Soldier Field and apparently has played his last game for the Bears. The team is exploring trade options for the six-year veteran.

We have a bunch(one or two) of young corners to replace him anyway.

well, I sure hope to get a 6th round pick for him. He plays CB well for a 4th-5th stringer. But again, odds are we just cut him.

After trading Chris Harris, Manning is also going to see some time at safety. Should we be concerned with our secondary depth?

No.

Wesley was signed to be a ST ace. And he sucked at it.

This does not hurt our depth at all since we have players on the practice squad better than him.

Archuleta/Brown are the starters.

We have Manning to play next to either one if one of them went down.

We would need some serious bad luck to be weak at the safety position.

Ok, went to the pats for a late round pick. I'm guessing a 7th, with play time up to a 6th.

I'm glad we actually got something for him. Any draft pick is good.

well, we need some cheap 5-7 round picks next year as we'll have to forfit high priced backups for cheap to keep our starting 21 (minus briggs) together.
