If the Over/Under for Hester touchdowns was set at 8 for the regular season would you go over or under?
I'd go over.

under. 8 is just too much. if he gets 4 on offense it's a good season.

I think 4 on returns and (taking a sip from my bears koolaide) 5 on offense.

under for 500 dollars.
5 or 6 would be the true betting line I think.

How can I lock this in? What you guys might be forgetting is that one of our top 3 receivers could go down. Then Hester would get much more playing time

Under
7 for the season. 3 or 4 each on offense and returns.
He might get more on offense if he played a lot, but I don't think he will.
And I think about 3 or 4 will be the max on returns this year. Teams will be game planning for him and kicking away from him alot.
He will have lots of exciting and good long returns but not as many scores.
7

I say over Emp.
I think I'd reverse your guess and say five returns and four on offense.
Honestly, they're setting up pretty simple stuff for the kid. Zero routes so that he doens't have to remember where to go but just gets the ball in his hands fast. Probably will have some third down backfield and God knows what kind of reverse options they'll have.
So yes, over, but it's the NFL so who knows?

Call me a pessimist, but I say he gets no more then 4. He will get two on offense, then 2 on Special Teams. This will still be a very solid season for him.

This is why I think over:
last year Hester had 68 touches on returns (20 kickoff, 47 punts & that crazy FG). On those 68 touches he got 6 touchdowns. Now in these return situations every single opponent is focused on Hester. He has to make moves just to get a chance to get isolated against a few defenders.
On offense, he will get the ball in situations where only a handful or fewer defenders even have a shot at him. I think he'll get 30+ touches on offense this year (1-2 receptions + a reverse or a run). I think his breakaway ability will generate a higher % touchdown ratio on offense (5 TDs this year). I think he still has 3-4 TDs on punt returns and at least 1 on KOs.

Under, by a lot.
I'd say 4-6. 2-3 on returns and 2-3 on offense.

No one is going to kick to him this season unless they absolutely have to for this very reason. Thus his value won't be in TD's but the stellar field position he helps us get.
Cliff Levingston will say 5, so definitely under. 2 offensive TD's and 3 return TD's. They're not going to use him a whole lot on offense especially at first.

I would put the lines at:
2 on returns
3.5 on offense
5.5 total
betting window open...

I think players/coaches in the NFL are too macho to kick away from him all game. I think it goes against the nature of the game. Its been mentioned a few times how the Colts begged to kick to him & were all pumped up about it.
