If I remember correctly, last year all preseason games were not in HD. Maybe the ESPN game will be, since its.. well ESPN. But don't be surprised to see the first HD game in week 1.

I slightly remember getting excited for the first game because of the HD factor. I had just gotten it and had the same feelings as you after seeing the preseason games in non-HD.

We have a game against the Colts in week 4 of preseason on ESPN so that will probably be in HD

The NFL Network carries every preseason game, many in HD. I'm watching Chiefs/Browns in HD now.

I was in Cleaveland last night for the Indians/Yankees game and it was nuts there with the Browns and Indians game going on at the same time.

all the bears games on NBC are not in hd...home or away (for preseason anyways) The game in week 2 of preseason @ indy will be in HD on monday night...other than that all the reg season games are in hd.
