Jeremiah Trotter CUT!

Post#1 » by Chi » Tue Aug 21, 2007 9:01 pm

Dont understand this move at all...

But I was wondering who has the salary cap to be able to pick up a pro bowl player like him right now?

I'd love to see him as our 3rd linebacker this year, but of coarse if we couldnt afford Briggs we sure cant afford him...

But where could he possibily end up this year?

There is absolutely no need for him.

If one of our LBers were to go we would have one of our young guys step in. Even Urlacher or Briggs go down we're not winning the Super Bowl so you might as well get the young guys some work for the future.

The last team that needs Jeremiah Trotter is the Bears

I'd let Charlie Trotter play quarterback at this point.

Trotter is a run stopping MLB. WE have the best MLB in the game. He can't play outside. He can't cover on 3rd and long like Urlacher and Briggs, he'd be the most pointless signing for this defense ever.

I was wondering what teams around the league had the cap room to sign him... Trying to figure where he may end up...

I didnt intend for this to turn into a bears should sign him post...

If he we got him that would make us even more intimidating. We play the Eagles midway through the season, too, so he should join us so he can woop them for cutting him. dumb move by the eagles, imo. He's a great player

Well i think the Eagles coaches and ownership know a little bit more than us on this issue so they must have had a good reason

Return to Chicago Bears
