I knew Rideau was gone after the 2nd preseason game when he had those two drops almost back to back.

Not necessarily.
The still have Ball and that punt snuffer from Boise State.

And Rideau is injured so they might have just put him out there to see if he could slip through and then if anybody claims him they can recall him if they want to.
That's a pretty good trick, but I don't think it will work because Rideau is pretty damn good and somebody should grab him.

Hmmm, I'm thinking maybe Hass was also a little bit better at Special Teams or something of that sort.

I don't know about you guys, but I don't know a guy that has stood out more this preseason than Hass. Tough catches in traffic. The block that sprung A..P for the TD. Also, the lack of burst on the reverse. I'm rooting for this guy to be the Bears new Ricky Proehl.

Corey Graham has impressed Cliff Levingston so far as well. He just seems to have a nose for the ball like Vasher does.

dvorcek has impressed me. Huge guy who has been stuffing the run quite nicely thus far as well as playing with great energy.

The Bears should sign Kevan Barlow for experienced depth at RB. He is still a decent player in my eyes. We should reshirt Garrett Wolf this yr because he isn't ready. Adrian peterson has performed when called upon but he isn't a better pure RB than Barlow but an exceptional special teams ace for sure. I remember we tried to sign Chris Brown in the offseason & there was a good reason for that. That reason still exists & if Benson is hurt or not making plays we have a decent backup to fall back on. I'm worried about the ground game with an unproven Benson & no other playmaker at the position to spell him.

Agreed. Agreed as to Dvoracek too. Think Bazuin might wake up after that sack?

good call Cliff. I've been watching Antrel Rolle here in Az, and at this point, I'd rather give Graham a chance in coverage if you can believe that. I want to see if Graham can make physical plays around the line of scrimmage too with his size and athleticism.

never underestimate the motor. I want to see him wrap some more people up though. had a couple whiffs. Another good value pick without a doubt, even as a 3rd rounder, because DTs are tough to find anyplace

alway good to have guys like that to round it out if they play Special Teams. Wasn't that the holdup for him?
