Post#1 » by Chi » Tue Sep 4, 2007 2:42 am

If Cedric Benson isnt what we expect him to be this year, what running backs will be in the upcoming free agency next year?

Not a very solid list, at least a couple of those RBs are current on another teams active roster.

Turner is still a Charger last time I checked, not a free agent, so it will be pretty hard to get him in a Bears uniform. Also Jamal Lewis is still with the Cleveland Browns and TJ Duckett is still with the Lions. Whoever created that list needs to pay attention or update the list every now and then.

It's a list of guys who will be free agents in 2008, not 2007. Turner signed a 1 year deal, making him a free agent next season.

Turner is the best of that group in my opinion. He's a 1000 yrd back as a starter no doubt.

benson will be great barring injury. if not, adrian peterson could be an everydown back for half of the teams in this league, but he has always been a backup. if given the chance, he could be a good one. i always liked him better than thomas jones.
We have Martell Webster. He's called Kyle Korver here, and we shall love him and squeeze him and call him Ashton. -BrooklynBulls
