2007 NFL Week 1 Picks

Post#1 » by NLK » Fri Sep 7, 2007 2:33 pm

Greetings everyone,
I thought I'd create a thread that would seem somewhat entertaining today, seeing as though September 9th can't get here soon enough!

I know, I know, I didn't pick the Bears to win. Something regarding Grossman or Benson worries me in the first game. I mean, I think they'll be fine for majority of the season, just not Week 1. To make the thoughts even worse, is to see the Vikings be at #1 after the first game. :noway: At least I'm banking on the Iggles (thats how they say Eagles in Philly sometimes) to beat the snot out of Favre & his "Hackers"

So, I have the Home Teams going 9-7 in Week 1. Chime in and share your thoughts.

Bears, Denver & Pittsburgh the only road winners in week 1.

I'd love to see the Bears win this one in a step towards making everyone shut the hell up about the Saints/Cowboys/Eagles being the class of the NFC and the top NFC teams not being able to hold a candle to the top AFC teams.

But I don't think it'll happen.

Yeah, I hope I'm wrong by not picking my own team to win this weekend. I dunno, Benson does worry me after watching him in the pre-season (and of course Rex). Who knows, maybe we can some how convert #23 into a QB too? I'm sure he can dip and duck through the defenses and be the first QB to rush over 1000 yds, and not throw a pass.

Shall I continue to make similar threads like this for each week? Or should I keep this one, and keep adding my pic picks?

ahhh, i have basketball at 5 30 so i cant watch the end of the game, why!!!???

i'm going to have to tape it, and then somehow from 530-830 not find out what happened, and then watch from where i left off.
