According to NFL.COM, it's a torn ACL. He's out for the year.

This is bad. We lost two starters on defense for the season in the first game. The D looked awfully good, but losing two starters is going to take its toll.

Dusty is one of the nicest players I've met. Packer fan or not I really hate to see him out for the year.

I think we went into the season prepared for Mike Brown to not be healthy. I'm less certain about how we'll adjust to playing without Dusty. The good news is that Tommie Harris looks like an elite DT, and we get good play out of our ends, so we should have a strong line overall even if we don't get great production out of the other DT.

This is the worst start to a bears season that I can remember. I really hope some of these young guys Angelo has picked can have a surprise bust out season ala Anderson

Really? Wasn't there a game to start the season a few years back where the Garcia/TO 49ers won by 30+?

Sure, the injuries suck, but that pretty much set the tone for that whole horrible year.

no this is worse based on expectations and hopes. There were no hopes under Wandf#%k or Penis Jaron. I'm not worried about the loss but 2 devistating injuries. You might get that for the year. But in 1 quarter on the same side of the ball? ugh. :noway: Just horrible.
