2007 NFL Week 3 picks

Post#1 » by NLK » Fri Sep 21, 2007 5:27 pm

First, lets interject this thread with a little humorous clips:

So now the reasoning for my picks, ala the humorous clips from above:

So to recap my picks:
Week 1 7-9
Week 2 9-7
Edit: Week 3 10-6 but a bad 10-6 because of REX! I was hoping to be 9-7 on the morning of Tuesday, Sept. 25.

Non-Edit: Yes, I picked against Rex this weekend, ditto for McNabb. I do see D-Mac a Bear QB in the near future. Call me crazy, but heck, I'm sure my picks would say that for me.

Whoa Cliff! Those three picks are pretty ballsy man! But I respect 'em.

My reason for not agreeing with these three picks: Detroit is on Offense is strong. And due to Philly's disabilities on offense (apparent this past monday night), plus McNabb is not even 80% from his ACL injury, I see them getting one TD and a couple of FGs. Hence, Detroit will use their size on O to beat the Iggles. Houston is up and coming, but I think Indy's D will be quick enough to keep up with the Texans. New Orleans will win because of the hype surrounding Vince Young and Reg Bush. I think they'll put it up as the battle of last year's rookies...however it'll be someone other than VY or RB that'll be the deciding factor. Thus the N.O. Aints win, for this week.

I wouldn't pick against Chicago in favor of any team except New England. Call me a homer, but that did work out pretty well for me last season.

wow, how could anyone pick dallas
our defense will stop them hard-----TO isnt the same as gates or gonzales and those 2 bad matchups are all this defense has looked human on

dallas' defense is below average at best and olsen will play----i bet olsen has like 6 catches for around 80-100

anyways

last week 9-7
17-15 overall

philly
jets
NE
zona
bucs
pitts
texans
chargers
KC
cleve
denver
seattle
skins
panthers
bears-----------and still the undisputed champs of the NFC--i hope we beat them like we did seattle (in the regular season last year)
