Don't let Griese throw it. He's afraid of throwing the ball into the endzone. Pound it in.

Well, that does it for this week. 33 points in the 4th quarter doing it in all kinds of ways. Interesting week coming up.

If this was simply last years team with Griese at QB and Benson at RB we'd be a lot better.

But the WRs look worse, the OL looks way worse, and the defense has had several injuries.

man that was a sad game... griese didnt do much to convince me that he should be starting... but i like the move with rex to the bench so he can get a taste of both worlds. well see how griese performs next week against the pack.

but wow man todays game was sad... im pissed off at benson because he is on my fantasy team, he doesnt have anything to prove anymore, he just doesnt seem that hungry? he better change this pu$sy a$s zhit. i hope rex comes back in a couple weeks cuz he is gonna be hungry.

I've still got a bit of hope.. we started 1-3 in 2005. If we can finish 9-7 or 10-6 and squeak into the playoffs while getting our guys healthy and Griese more incorporated into the offense, I wouldn't want to be a team that has to play the Bears.

Sigh. Looks like our offense just sucks and too many defensive injuries to count.

How much more incorporated do you want Griese to be? 60 attempts? 70?

They ran the ball that year. They can't run it this year. That defense was pretty healthy. This defense isn't. Sorry, I'm usually optimistic but this team is epically bad on offense.

I'd say more then one game. At least 15 of those attempts came because we were down.

Positives from this game

- Griese looked good at times, in a different way to when Grossman looked good at times.
- Defensive Line looked good.
- Secondary looked good for 3 quarters.
- 4 blocked kicks on the season for the Bears.
- Bears defense held a great Lions defense to 3 points. Oh yeah, through 3 quarters.
- Hester

Negatives from the game

- Griese looked bad at times, in a similar way to when Grossman looked bad at times. 3 picks, 2 in the red zone, and the other returned for a TD.
- Offensive line still sucks.
- Benson still can't run the ball and fumbled.
- Allowing 34 points in the 4th quarter? Are you freakin kidding me?
- The WRs still dropping balls left and right. 6 or 7 drops today?

Unfortunately, the negatives far, far outweigh the positives.

This was an absolute waste of a Sunday afternoon. They don't make alcohol strong enough to bury this loss.

Hey, anyone remember what Lovie Smith's number one goal was? Oh yeah, beat the Packers. Put your money where your mouth is dyckhead. I don't want to see Lovie Jauronstedt-Smith again. 1-3 sucks but 1-4 could start a big free fall.

Is it too much to ask for the Bears to not have a joke of an offensive coordinator once in my life? I said it last year too,but Ron Turner needs to go so badly.

If we beat the Packers, I say we still win 10-11 games and make the playoffs. Our schedule is so ridiculously easy after Phili, in my opinion.

If we lose to the Packers, we win 6-7 games and miss the playoffs.
