Does a light camp lead to more injuries?

Doug Baffone mentioned this while the Bears were in camp on the Score. It was not a definate statement but more of a "I hope giving these guys all these days off doesn't lead to pulled muscles and otehr injuries when we get going for real"

Anyone have any thoughts on that?

05 started off terrible with injuries mainly because Lovie insisted on pushing these guys in practice. We had lots of hamstring injureis, most notably Urlacher. All year he wasn't the same.

"This is practice, we talkin' 'bout practice. Not a game, practice!"

ya know it had to come out sometime.

But, you would think the guys that got the most rest, people like Urlacher, Moose, etc would be the ones hurt...

I think it's just bad life and really hope it's not because of the aggressive defensive style Babich coaches(becuase I really like it).
