Braun's defense has been a huge surprise. A guy I work with is friends with Robin Yount and talked to him the week before Braun was called up. Yount told him Braun had all the tools of a great hitter, his glove was fine but his arm was so wild that Robin thought it could prevent him from being a major league infielder. And up to that point everything Braun had done in the field, in the minors and in spring training, proved that point.
It's only been less than 20 games but let's hope this defense isn't a fluke.
