Great win, but whoa: Moose is done
Not impacting football games anymore.
I'm impressed with what we were able to do minus Berrian as well. Hester, Olsen and Berrian should figure into what we do now... really liked seeing Hester going long on that one play, and in so doing, changing the defense's priorities.

not getting separation from receivers though. in a game where Griese was spreading it around to several receivers, and with Berrian out, it wasnt thrown Moose's way much.
and i'm gonna say 'hands' havent been his strong suit the last few years. as griese gets more comfortable with the offense, we'll see if things can turn around.

Don't mind Moose at all. He does more than catch the ball on this team and this is just fine with me.
He makes an impact on the field/bench teaching the young WRs and he makes an impact off the field with his positive attitude and non selfish demeanor.
Plus, have you ever heard of Al Harris and Charles Woodson? Those CBs aren't too shabby.

Honestly, I don't care. I actually think with Berrian out today and Moose not being his normal self, it didn't allow Green Bay to key on one reciever which helps a lot, especially when they have to also key now on our two TEs, Bradley and Hester. Eventually Moose will get a big catch when the defense gets a little bit relaxed on him.

The season is still long, he'll make plays when we need 'em. He did make a play, even if it was just one, its better than zero.

thats part of my point though, with Berrian out, then Moose should be the guy who gets more than one catch.
if it's easy to accept that he wouldnt be, then standards have definitely fallen since his first year here. and wildly since Carolina.
but to address one above post, i have no problem at all with his leadership contributions, and seems like a solid guy from all accounts. all that said, i'm gonna be all for more Mark Bradley time if he's going to get that separation more consistently.

This team is no longer equipped to handle several throws to the wide receivers. Our QB just isn't strong enough to do that. Rex on the other hand had an arm, but Griese, hardly.
Bradley also had a pass go right through his arms. He had one catch on a route across the field, which led him out of bounds. He should've had two catches today. I wanna say the drop was a 3rd down early, but I could be wrong.

He makes more of a contribution away from the ball and off the field these days, but David Haugh pointed out his financial figures, ...come to think of it Moose hasn't really showed up this year.

David Haugh wrote:The Bears' own "Moose," wide receiver Muhsin Muhammad, needs to emerge from the forest of irrelevance in which he has been lost the first five games this season.
But Bears fans are still waiting for Muhammad to do more than average 3.6 receptions and 46.65 yards per game, as he has in 40 games in a Bears uniform, including playoffs.
In five games, Grossman and Brian Griese have thrown in Muhammad's direction 28 times. But, according to STATS, nine passes were considered bad throws and one was deflected at the line. That's 35 percent of the passes thrown to Muhammad that have been uncatchable.
