Lets see.

We're at home.. vs a very good rush defense (#1) but poor pass defense (#30)... I predict an ugly game like last year's 2 games vs the Vikings.

23-13 Bears

Benson - 50 yards on 17 carries
Griese - 20/32 250 yards 1 TD 1 INT
Gould - 3/3 FG 2/2 XP
D/ST - 4 sacks, 2 fumble recoverys, 3 INTs, 1 TD.

Actually I'm changing it to 30-13 Bears with Griese throwing 2 TDs. Vikings pass defense really sucks.

Annoying Packer fan here :)

Congrats on the win. Your team played their hearts out and won the turnover battle, two things that always help in the NFL.

Lovie's Bears deserved that win :(

Should be a great stretch the rest of the season as long as Green Bay continues to play like weeks 1-4, and the Bears continue to play like week five.

Even though you've been a snake all season, this showed some class.

Thanks for the compliment. Now lets hope this starts the spiral down for the Pack.

This should be even more of a knock down drag out defensive battle than the Packers game was. Cliff Levingston expects us to stick to run and once again not have much success against Minnesota's stellar interior run stoppers; the Williams boys. However we'll win the field position battle due to the Hester factor and score just enough to win.

Bears 16, Vikings 10.

Lets feed off that victory at green bay to punish and enslave the remainder of games and more importantly the foes in our division!

I hope Babich uses Urlacher to blitz (getting sacks) only at oppurtune times, and sticks him at his strength, in the Cover 2 coverage, disrupting the middle of the field (along with Briggs & Hillenmeyer).

I hope we just abuse their entire secondary with Greg Olsen/Desmond Clark until they cry uncle, then we shove Cedric Benson down their throats for good measure.

I REALLY hope we stop their running game. Really don't want to hear "man, we should of traded Lance Briggs for 6th pick and took AP" in the game thread, even though I know I will.

I can't stand when people talk big and then disappear when it's time to own up. If a person is wrong, I consider it common courtesy to admit it.

You guys played better. Now, that said, next game I'm going to show up and give you guys hell when we whoop up on you at Soldier Field :)

The defense is going to have a huge day this week, especially if we get Vasher back.

4-6 sacks, 2-4 picks, 1-2 fumbles, maybe a score. We might give up 100 yards to Adrian Peterson but under 150 to whoever starts at QB for them, probably Tarvaris Jackson who has 5 picks in 56 attempts this year.

quote from Tommie Harris...

Defensive tackle Tommie Harris was asked what was different about the two quarterbacks.

"One's white and one's black," Harris said, looking for a laugh. "Both are good quarterbacks. Holcomb, I believe, is a little older."

Holcomb is 34, 10 years older than Jackson.

I'd like to see our Adrian Peterson have a good week.
He can be more productive than Benson right now.

i don't know what the bears are thinking with benson. this is his 3rd season, and he's yet to show anything at all. i have zero confidence in him at this point. i would be alright with him if he was at least a good blocker or pass-catcher, but he doesn't even do those things well enough. if he is garbage for one more game, i say give the starting job to peterson, and the backup role to wolfe.

Maybe when no one's looking we can have our Peterson swaped with theirs? Running game problem solved!

Benson off to as good a start as you can get against this #1 ranked Vikings D.
