Bear down!
Who I want to see more of-

Less of-

GRIESE!
I predict the first Bears blowout win of the season.
Bears W 31-10. Benson is player of the game with 111 yards on 23 carries and a score.
Especially with
NATHAN VASHER!!!
due back.

Jeff Joniak said Vashed probably isn't coming back until after the bye

Damn. I heard he practiced Friday and should practice next week, so I thought he'd play next week.
I think he still might come back anyways. We could use him against a strong passing attack.

Last time we played them we were also without Archuleta and Tillman. We should be more ready, and we should not give up 37 points.

We were missing Briggs that game, too, right?

Ya know whats crazy? Griese might make the probowl this season if he and the Bears play well for the rest of the season.
10th in the NFC in yards (1203).. 5th in yards per attempt (7.4).. 1st in yards per game (300.8).. 5th in touchdown passes (8).. 5th in touchdown percentage.. 9th in QB rating (86.0) (and if you take out that first game, he'd be 5th (94.3)). I know its only four games, and its really unlikely to happen, but it isn't totally out of the question, and those are some nice stats he's put up.

Isn't the other guy on our team too. Looks a little like Alex Brown? Or I'm way off here.

Ah, thats who it is! Wow, how time flies and I've forgotten about him. We need to create a "Ex-BEARS: Where are they now?" Thread.

Azumah does the post game shows for Comcast SportsNet after every Bears game.

Damn, Mcgowan is day to day with an eblow sprain. Now, I know I'm not the only one that regrets that Chris Harris trade but...
I think it might be time to put Brian Urlacher back at his regular position! We have like 8 different linbeackers....

NLK's WEEK 8 Picks!

by NLK
So far my overall record from Week1 till Week 7 is 60-43 (.583)
(7-9, 9-7, 10-6, 8-6, 10-4, 8-5, and 8-6).
BEARS, an obvious must win from them. A loss, and we can pretty much surmise that the season is over. Weather forecast is predicting it to be sunny, in the 50s this Sunday, and hopefully that bodes well for our team. Some Keys to Winning:
Offensively -
1.) No Turnovers (unlike that Viking game).
2.) Griese continuing to look for Clark, Olsen, thus opening up some long strikes to Berrian, and possibly MOOSE.
3.) Hester effect will be in play, so take advantage of the good field position opportunities. Ron Ron, call some good plays, make them look like the Week 3 Lions!
4.) Run the BALL! Even if its only 2 or 3 yards carry, give it to Benson. Make him earn that contract darn it! If it mean setting up 3rd and 5 or 6, its better than 3rd and 8 or longer. Plus, win that time of possession battle. Keep the D off the field, they could use the rest to make crucial stops if needed down the stretch.
5.) DEFENSE - Pressure Kitna with varying blitz packages. He got taken down once before with a concussion, make him scared that it can possibly happen again.
btw, if the BEARS WIN again this weekend, may I get the NYG @ CHI thread? I promise I'll change up the photos this time.

Sweet, the Bears are wearing their orange jerseys Sunday. The Bears usually play amazing in orange.
