Bears/Seahawks Moved Out Of Primetime For Patriots/Bills

Post#1 » by SportsWorld » Mon Nov 5, 2007 9:39 pm

I don't know if I should be pissed that they moved us out of a primetime game or happy they saved us from an embarrassment. I'll go with the second one

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. -- The Patriots' run at a perfect record is going prime time.

The league pushed back the start of New England's game at the Buffalo Bills on Nov. 18 to 8:15 p.m. ET and it will move from CBS to NBC. Originally, Patriots-Bills was set for 1 p.m. ET on CBS and Chicago at Seattle was the night game.

Chicago will now play at Seattle at 4:15 p.m. ET on Fox.

The switch comes in the first week of the NFL's flexible television schedule period this season, a new wrinkle in the league's broadcast policy that came into effect last year. The flex schedule was negotiated into the new TV contract to ensure contending teams play in prime time late in the season.

Our game will be closer than the 60-0 Patriots blowout.

Considering how much Seattle has underachieved as well, this is pretty expected

Well seeing as how the Patriots and Bills are good to great teams and the Bears and Seahawks are bad to awful teams... it makes a lot of sense.

I'm kinda disappointed by the move. Its one of the few times I get to see the Bears in the philly area. But I guess, w./ the way the BEARS are playing, its probably best they got moved so they wouldn't get totally embarrassed.

Trust me. I've seen these Bears they look nothing like their 06-07 version. You don't want to see this sideshow.
