Denver Broncos @ Chicago Bears Game Thread 11/25 3:15

Post#1 » by CBS7 » Wed Nov 21, 2007 4:20 pm

I'll spice it up later.

If anyone is still holding hope for the playoffs, pretty much every game from here on out is a must win. We might be able to get in with a 5-1 record here on out, but to be safe we'll have to go 10-6. The way our defense has been playing, I doubt it'll happen. But I'll still root for the Bears to win every game they play hereon out.

We're 4-6, they are 5-5. We've been terrible at home, 1-3 i believe and we haven't won at home since week 2.

If we can play like we should be playing with home field advantage, it'll help a whole lot. We've only got 2 road games left, and 4 home games.

We need this game for the playoffs, if we lose, then we better hope for a decent draft pick.

Cedric Benson needs to get fed the ball a bunch of times because he was obviously robbed last week. If not, I dont' see a reason why Ron Turner shouldn't go.

On the other hand, I bet a lot of people are rooting for the Broncos to win. High draft pick ftw.

A few things I'd like to see in this game:

1. Benson rip off a couple more 10+ yard runs.

2. Rex go without an interception for two straight games.

3. No bungled snaps. :)

4. Multiple forced turnovers on defense.

I watched this team from beginning to end last week. We're not playoff bound. The Broncos are bad, the Bears are worse (O-Line, QB, RB are all inept).

So on the first posession: Run with Benson, picks up his avg 2 to 3 yards. He looked good on that short gain. Pass to Berrian for a 1st Down. Then its 3 passes (one complete to AP, for one yard total). Then punt. :nonono:

Those types of fumbles were ones that bounced the Bears way last season.

Nice job by Grossman to elude the rush and find Clark

Our defense is not overrated. They are what they are.
