Seems like the Broncos are trying to deal him.

Unless the Bears don't re-sign Berrian. Otherwise, there's more pressing needs

We could likely get him cheap.

We have absolutely no WR talent..

Walker would be a great addition if Berrian is walking.

Walker/Bradley/Hester isn't a bad start.. If we could land Limas Sweed in the 2nd we would look a lot better.

Walker/Bradley/Sweed/Hester

That WR Corps looks better than what we had the past two years(that's assuming Bradley/Hester develop)

I didn't see Javon Walker come back too strong from injury at all last year and he's going to be 30 once the season starts. I'm thinking Bryant Johnson or DJ Hackett as better options. With Berrian gone, the Bears situation has got to look attractive to a guy looking to be a #1 WR. Then again.....if it's going to be Neckbeard making the passes maybe it's not so attractive after all. :nonono:

Javon Walker is actually very favorable. He has talent, enough to hold us over until Bradley and Hester develop further. Personally I feel both of them can eventually become starting wideouts but not in the immediate future, so Javon would just hold us over and then we'll also get one in the draft to go with. Should make it overall a decent corps.

I hope you're right but I think there's a reason Bradley only caught 4 passes last year. He just hasn't looked the same after the injury. Throw in Hester's route confusion (whether or not the Bears want to admit it) and general inexperience and I see two question marks where you see two areas of strength. I'd go youth with the guys I mentioned and let the rumored 10 other teams that have shown interest in Walker fight it out over him.

Well, I don't see it as a strength, I see it as a work in progress. Management's willingness to let get rid of our previous starting wide receivers, shows me that they know something about Bradley and Hester that we don't.

At the same time, I realize it's the same management that got rid of Thomas Jones etc...but you know

Oh, just pick him up, he can't hurt the team any
