Colts to host Bears in week 1 SNF game.

Post#1 » by CBS7 » Wed Apr 2, 2008 5:06 pm

The Indianapolis Colts will host the Chicago Bears in Sunday night's prime-time game, the first regular-season contest at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The Colts plans to play preseason games in the 63,000-seat stadium in August.

Damn, looks like we're starting out 0-1. Unless they kick to Hester of course.

Dont worry CBS, the Colts are what the Yankees were a few years ago. Slowly declining, but still in the upper eschelon of teams.

Wayne will never as good as Marvin Harrison, and Addai is no Edge. They're still a great team, but I really think they(the team) peaked when they beat us in the Super Bowl.

CBS?!? We are so going to kick the season off 1-0. Our healthy defense? A revamped offensive line (?????) and Rex at the helm?

BEARS WIN! Defense will be better and I think everyone is going to underestimate the offense.

YES NLK! There will be NOOOO pressure on the Bears. Everyone will be expecting them to get blasted. Lovie seems to do well in those circumstances. Plus the defense will be coming out with something to prove.

Sig bet Chewie!!!

And that's how we won the superbowl.

Oh wait, nevermind..

Hopefully our offense is at least respectable in the opener. It would give me a lot of hope for the rest of the season

It was much more then respectable in the last opener. Our defense looked great, but thats pretty much the only game they started 100% healthy. They finished with two starters out for the season too.

Yeah, I can't remember any team having a worse string of injuries on one side of the ball. I think we lost someone after every one of the first 6 games. I'm hoping Dusty is back healthy and strong. He looked great in pre-season & against the Chargers.
