Besides Indy, we missed a lot of powerhouses.

Looks like a fairly easy schedule to me besides Jacksonville and Indy but I'm not so sure about Green Bay/ Minnesota/Detriot seeing as how everyone made a big change in one way or another.

10-6?

Split with the division (3-3) and lose against Indy, Jacksonville, and one other team.

What a strange schedule. We don't have a single instance of "road-home-road" or "home-road-home." It's all 2 or 3 road games followed by 2 or 3 home games.

Couldn't ask for a much easier schedule though. The only two games that look like sure losses are Indy and Jacksonville.

I wouldn't say a sure loss against Jacksonville. If everyone stays healthy and plays to expectations...I'd say 13-3

I highly doubt it will happen though

damn Chibearsfan, you have us pegged with 13 if fully healthy???? I had the BEARS to win 12 or 13 last year post-Super Bowl, but we all knew how the following season played out.
Shoooot, we're going to be less talented offensively this year than 2007. Defense should be better (in fact they'd have to be because they stunk it up, healthy or injured in '07). We have way too many question marks, at too many positions on both sides of the ball (OT, G, RB, maybe QB, WR, S and Strongside LB). To me thats a lot, and I don't know how Angelo is going to fix all that in one year (i've succumbed to Thonus' analysis, which he's right on). Maybe in 2009 we get back to BEARS-style football, but I've lowered my expectations to 8-8 maybe 9-7 at best (and hell that might be good enough to win the NFC North).

I know we got a million ?'s but I'm still optimistic cuz I'm a homer... I hope the momentum towards the end of last year can carry into this year. I expect to at least have a solid season (9-10 wins) with an early out in the playoffs.

I can understand that sentiment! I consider myself very homerish when it comes to posting on these boards. Alas, the failures of the Bears & Bulls has zapped that out of me for a bit, hence I haven't up to visiting the boards, much less posting. As for your expectations, I'd love for a 9 to 10 win season and qualifying for a Wild Card Playoff Game (at Soldier Field).
