Although the chances of Miami trading out of the first pick remain extremely remote, they have improved in the last week because interest for Ryan has suddenly increased. Baltimore, Chicago, Carolina and Detroit have begun seriously considering trade-up options to get Ryan on draft day.
Huh? Well this would be about as un-Bearslike as humanly imaginable but I thought I'd throw the info out there. They'd have to REALLY be in love with Ryan to do this.

Didn't we just re-sign Rex and Kyle?

If we do this it better be to freaking sign Jake Long I swear.

Smoke screen. Why would we trade up that high to get Ryan. He could fall to the late single digit picks.
If we are going to trade with Miami I would expect one of the Longs.
Either Long is a good pick. Chris Long is about as close as you can get to a sure thing. HOF pedigree, smart player, explosive. Jake Long is a franchise LT, and is more D'Brickshaw Ferguson rather than Robert Gallery.

Never gonna happen. I mean, this is the Chicago Bears we're talking about here.

I'm thinking that too! Otherwise, this can be another Angelo screw up in the making. Now it'd be a different thing if were in some talks with the Eagles about trading our later pick (or future picks) for Lito Sheppard (thus allowing to move Peanut Tillman at Safety, where I think he'd be pretty decent at).

No chance JA does that. Hell I've been wanting them to trade up every year, but even I wouldn't trade up that high.

Bears give up assets to pay a guy like Ryan, M. Long or J. Long franchise player type money? Not gonna happen.
Getting Jake Long would be nice, but not at the price it would take.

ESPN has just reported that the Dolphins have an agreement to take Jake Long so this option is off the table. It's not like it would have happened anyways.

Jake Long is the correct choice. A legit franchise LT is the first step to a good offense.
Now the Freudian slip looks more intentional than a mistake.

St. Louis Rams, you are now on the clock.
That ends that speculation....not to say the Bears couldn't still trade up if they think Ryan is a franchise-type QB.

I wouldn't mind trading up if it doens't mean giving up a pick in the second(I wouldn't mind swapping) and our lower 3rd round pick.
