He's a free agent, we only have 2 QBs currently on our roster, should we sign him?

Nope, I'd rather take my chances on a rookie, 3rd rounder, 6th rounder, whatever, is better than Daunte Culpepper.

Didn't he used to be pretty good though? He might be worth a look at least.

Just creating more controversy though.
Rex and Neckbeard are under contract and you know we're going to draft a QB within the first 3 rounds tomorrow. I don't see Angelo stirring up the pot like that and I doubt we carry 4 QBs, either.

My money is on Flacco being gone by the time the Bears pick in Round 2. I doubt Dolphins, Falcons, AND Ravens pass him up in the second...

Culpepper was done two years ago. He clearly hasn't recovered from his knee surgery. The best part about him was his legs. 1300 yds 5 TD, 5 INT. Not exactly blowing anyone away with those numbers.

And he's about 1 sack from being hurt with a career threatening injury. And with the Bears' line I'd say that would probably happen 5 minutes into the first game.

And yet a higher QB rating than Grossman, Orton and Griese last season.

Chicago Bears = worst offensive line in the league. Enough said.

Still could sign Culpepper and trade a pick for next year's draft to get some veteran OG.

I'm not sure how much value you could get with Culpepper.
