Tell me about Drew Radovich. Seems like a lot of guys like him and he plays OG.

If he has any chance whatsoever to contribute this season then I say pick him up.

Well i didnt go into details reading up on him. I just noticed he was the top lineman left on kiper, scouts inc and a couple others as best available. He has to be pretty good  lol

Radovich is a USC guy. USC has a lot of guys that look sexy, but look better because they played for USC. One of those guys is Chilo Rachal.

Between CHilo and Radovich I obviously like Radovich better. Chilo played only on the right side as a guard and when USC tried him at tackle he wasn't that good. However Radovich played a lot of left guard, which is a more desired position on the line, and he was nimble and quick enough to move out to the R-tackle position.

I think his movement from LG to RT is enough to tell me his quickness can make it in the NFL. Chilo looked better because USC always has a good scheme for RB's, and Chilo (in the words of iceness) can only block something that is coming straight at him, otherwise his footwork fails him.

Radovich was projected in the mid rounds, 3rd or 4th round.

Drew Radovich

Height: 6-4 1/2 | Weight: 301 | 40-Time: 5.38

Strengths:
Good size and a large frame...Really strong and tough...Decent range and can get to the second level...Has a terrific motor...Pretty quick...Nice footwork...A excellent pass protector...Smart with great awareness...Hard worker...Has some versatility.

Weaknesses:
Not very athletic or agile...Does not always play with proper leverage...Might lack a killer instinct...Struggles to recover when he's beat...Does not get a great push in the run game...Has to use his hands better...Isn't overly powerful or dominant.

Notes:
Father Mark was a linebacker at Arizona State...Has experience at both guard and tackle...A good all-around player who doesn't have one thing he hangs his hat on but does everything well...At worst a valuable backup and could conceivably start.

If I'm an undrafted guard, I have my agent immediately call the Bears looking for an invite. I can't imagine another team that has a greater need for help at that position coming out of the draft. That's a big opportunity to not only make the team but see some action.

By the sound of it, sure sounds like a steal in free agency.
