So, there ya go, folks. Not to Minnesota, which would have been awful for the Bears. This was where I thought he'd wind up all along.
Now get on the phone about Chris Simms or Jeff Garcia.

Well, word is the Pack is dead-set on not trading within the division so Bucs and Jets got first shot.

Good news for our division. If we can somehow get Jeff Garcia our team would be vastly improved. Garcia was a Pro Bowler last year with a QB rating of 94.6 and he threw only 4 interceptions in 13 games.

Are you a Saints fan? Because the Bears play the Colts in week 1. Play the Bucs in Week 3.

Considering I wanted Garcia LAST time he was a free agent, I'd be all over getting him now. Probably a few things need to happen first :
1) Favre traded to Bucs
2) Orton+Grossman look flat tomorrow
3) Angelo grows a pair

Number 1 might happen, number 2 is bound to happen, and number 3 will never happen.

Yep. My fear is Angelo won't want to "hurt Grossman's and Orton's psyches" and will say that it'll take Garcia too long to figure out their offensive sets. I'll bet Garcia could be had for a song if the Bucs get Favre. A 5th rounder that can turn into a 3rd with incentives.
