QB and Media

Rex Grossman and Media...
I know this is a big IF... but do you think had the media stopped pinpointing their daily hour shows on rex grossman, he wouldn't have cracked they way he did? Not saying he is a mental midget, because persoanlly a guy go through 3 seasons of being hurt, trying to rebound from the nationally televised games and being benched and getting hurt again and then resigning with the city that hates him, do you really think he is that mentally weak? He could have easily just quit and left the organization and blamed the team like mostly everyone that has left the team, but he didn't. Not saying he should be glorified for this and he should get PT for this but he should at least deserve more credit than everyone perceives?
Example I can see a QB getting murdered by media Peyton Manning beacause he isn't playing like Manning and i can see everyshow on earth stating it over and over and over again. T.Jackson but not anymore due to his benching. Marc Bulger just because that team is going downhill and if he continues poor play. Donovan McNabb, just because he has always been targeted, but his play kicks in from time to time, but if he starts to have at least 2 bad games, I can see him being crucified by Philly/ESPN. Kyle Orton, just because of the QB controversy and his very low skill level of being a strong GM. Derek Anderson, Defense caught on (ala grossman, but grossman has rebounded from time to time, but DA hasn't.. sad because Chicago wanted to trade LANCE BRIGGS for him) and sooner or later Cleveland will be calling for Brady Quinn and DA's head. Last but not least, Aaron Rodgers, the rebirth of Brett Favre. 1 bad game could just do it to him...
