Let's see...

Vasher probably out, Tillman may or may not play, Harris suspended, Lloyd and Booker questionable...

I still think we get the win. Our offense should be far better then it was when we played them last year. We have Forte now and a QB that hopefully won't throw 7 picks in 2 games. Including 4 (5?) redzone picks and another returned for six. And we will have Brown and Payne.

We should be able to beat this team. Their offense is bad, ranked 26th of 32 in the NFL, but their defense is even worse. Here's a whole bunch of stats for their defense.

Against the pass:
- They actually give up just 222.7 yards a game to the opponent's QB. That's 22nd, and it's actually better then us yardage wise, but wait for the following...
- They have yet to record an interception. One of two teams without a pick, the other being the Cowboys.
- Just 3 sacks. 2nd worst in the NFL to the Bengals, who have 2.
- Allow a 66.2% compeltion rate, 7th worst in the league.
- Allow 9.2 yards per pass attempt, tied for worst in the league with the Rams.
- Have allowed 6 TD passes compared to 0 interceptions.
- Give up a rating of 122.5 to opposing team's QBs, worst in the league.
- Allow a 1st down % of 39.2%, 5th worst in the league.
- Have been burned for 40+ yard plays 4 times, tied for most in the league with 4 other teams.

Against the run:
- Allowed 207.7 yards per game against the run. Worst in the league.
- Allowed 5.6 yards per rushing attempt. Worst in the league.
- Allowed 6 rushing TDs in 3 games. Tied for 4th most in the league.
- Allowed 34 rushing first downs, 5th worst in the league. All the team's ahead of them have played 4 games, the Lions only 3.
- Allowed a 1st down % of 30.6%.
- Alowed 4 20+ runs, tied for 5th most in the league.

Overall...
- Last in the league overall (430.3 yards/game)
- Last in the league in yards per play (6.9)
- 3rd worst in the league in first downs allowed per game (22.3)
- Have given up 113 points in 3 games for an average of 37.7 per contest, worst in the league.

My prediction

Bears 31
Lions 20

Forte 135 rushing yards 35 receiving yards 2 rushing TDs
Orton 225 yards 2 TD 1 INT

Wow. That's a lot of injured players for our guys. There comes a point where the level of play drops off as a result and we may be at that point. Color me worried. I don't care if it's the Lions.

peanut practiced so hopefully he plays

Vasher on comcast sportsnet last night said he was going to play if they allow him too.

Here is hoping both of them play.

Will miss Lloyd and wont be able to tell the difference if Harris and Booker dont play based on there performances so far this year .

I fully expect Roy Williams to be in a bears uniform next season.

Swept by the Lions last year so hopefully that fires this team up. Aaron Rodgers is a game time decision for Sunday so we could very well be in 1st place by the end of Sunday.

Damn. Should have kept Shaun Rodgers. Forte go have a field day.

Brandon Lloyd didn't practice but apparently is set to play on Friday. Maybe the biggest lost we'll have is Tommie Harris.

Forte has played a couple of games against some very tough run defenses. He should explode on Sunday for a lot of rushing yards. 120 yards, 1TD. 5 receptions for 30 yards.

A game they should win, which means they shall lose in horrific fashion.

Because it's in Detroit that will probably happen. But this Detroit team looks worse than last years. A Bears win would help take the pain of the Cubs away.

 It's like the refs are out to get us this year. Every solid return is flagged.

It definitely is the Matt Forte show.

Wonder what the Bears are going to do after this timeout. They should talk about something that will fake the Lions out but I predict a HB draw.

Bears need to be a bit more aggressive offensively .We know the Lions suck at run defense but we cant be too predictable with our run plays . Mix in some play action and go for the deep play which the Lions have gave up often this season.
