Anyone for Jeff Garcia or Byron Leftwich?

Now that it's clear who the starter is. I recall JA mentioning that he didn't want to bring in a veteran QB until after the draft to make it clear that we had settled on a starter. You gotta think JA is going for it all next year at this point. So should we bring in Garcia or Leftwich to backup Cutler?

any backup QB with experience I'm all for ..... Garcia, Leftwich, Batch ect.

No need to draft a rookie QB, sign a vet and let Hanie keep on developing as the # 3 QB.

Hell bring in Ryan Leaf. Anything is better than Caleb Hanie as a backup QB.

Hell, I wanted Garcia as the starter over Orton so I'll certainly take him as a backup.

I like him a lot.

I'd love Leftwich. I think he'd prefer to go somewhere where he could start though. I could live with almost any veteran right now. Keep Hanie as 3rd.

I have always liked Leftwich, but my liking him and rooting for him might cloud my thinking, but I would love to see him come in, assuming it would be known he is the backup.

Was hoping once he realized that his phone isn't ringing off the hook for starting jobs, he'd accept the backup position. At some point you'd also think he'd realize he's 41.
