OK - its slow again so for those of you even checking this board, lets try a contest to see who comes closest to naming all the starts when open up the regular season in a confidence game. Of course injury will play into this but what the heck. Here's mine....

So you think Vasher gets his spot back? If so, that means our secondary will be ballin' since Lovie and Angelo have stated the best 4 will get on the field regardless of position. I think Graham moves to FS along side Payne and they start Tillam and Moore. They've been saying they need another cover corner & Angelo is gushing about Moore's ball hawking skills and athletic ability. Plus they aren't scared to start a rookie opposite Tillma. I think Vasher's lost a step and doesn't support the run well enough to get his job back.

This made me realize that corner and DT are our most open battles. What happens at corner could determine what happens at safety.

I'm rooting for Vasher to win his job back.

Well, I can't say I'm confident given where I put Vasher on the list but that's my best guess right now. He showed up to mini camp in great shape from all reports and he knows he's down to his last chance with the team. Fear is a good motivator.

As is money. Which is why I have Ogunleye fairly high on my list given this is his contract year. And your broke-@ss list is missing his name altogether.

I think he's the odd man out on the line. He's up for a new contract and there's no chance the Bears will resign him. Thus if Marinelli can get Anderson close, he will get the nod over AO. My guess is they will go with youth on opening day and try to let Anderson earn the new contract.

Cliff Levingston really isn't sure about the NT position considering all the candidates we have, and Cliff Levingston could easily see them trying a Payne/Steltz safety tandem.
