Can't wait. This has been a boring past month in terms of Bears news. This is probably the most anticipated I've been for a Bears season ever.

Sadly, me too. I have these expectations that will inevitably be ripped to shreds with disappointment.

I'll be heading down Aug 1st, and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how I should go about doing things?
Autographs? How things are run? Things of that nature. It'll be my first of many hopefully.
Thanks in advancee

I live in Bourbonnais and I head to camp a few times a year. I used to line up for autographs the first couple years they were in town. What you want to do is just lineup along the fence when they come out and stay at the fence the entire practice. They usually don't sign when they first come out, but when practice is over you will be able to get a few autographs. A lot of the star players ride by on on golf carts and never stop to sign, but sometimes they do. Just make sure you keep your spot at the fnce, because if you move your meat you'll lose your seat for sure.
I can't wait to head over and see Cutler sling the ball around.

I just got back from Wal-Mart. Saw Tommie Harris come out of the rest room with a Reds cap on. He grabbed a cart and headed to the electronics. I didn't approach him though, didn't want to bug him.

Wow, I feel like a bad fan.
I don't know who half of those players are.
I only recognize Cutler, Hester, Lovie, Tillman(?), Gilbert(?), and Maynard(?).

Cutler 'as good as advertised' in first training camp practicehttp://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsSt ... ry_id=5962BOURBONNAIS, Ill. – Jay Cutler received a hero’s welcome from an overflow crowd when he stepped on the field Friday afternoon for the Bears’ first training camp practice.
The Pro Bowl quarterback operated an offense that rebounded from a shaky start. After fumbling the snap on the first play of 11-on-11 drills, Cutler displayed his strong, accurate arm in rifling completions to Devin Hester over the middle and Earl Bennett in the left flat and along the left sideline.
“Everyone’s a little bit rusty,” Cutler said. “It takes time to get the feel for it, but I thought it was a good first day. Guys were in the right spots. That’s the most important part of it. The rest is going to come.
“I felt good out there. I missed some throws that I’m going to be able to make. But it’s the first day. We’re going to go back and look at the film, but overall I think it’s good.”
Jay Cutler says he and receivers are on same pagehttp://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/fo ... 1508.storyBOURBONNAIS -- Jay Cutler may be new to the Bears offense, but he felt like he was in sync with his receivers from the start of training camp Friday at Olivet Nazarene.
He blamed himself for missing some throws early as his receivers were in the right spots. Cutler said only once did someone miss an assignment in the passing game.
"And they are making some adjustments that aren't on paper," he said.
Cutler said wide receivers Earl Bennett and Devin Hester and tight end Greg Olsen are getting a feel for how he thinks.

Man, I really hope that Earl Bennett can be a better receiver for us this season than Rashied Davis. Davis dropping balls could force us to punt a lot.
