OK, did anyone catch this penalty on the Vikings defense? What the hell is a delay of game on the defense due to an Unnatural Act? I can't remember seeing a delay of game called on the defense other than when guys pin down an offenive player with time running out. This was not the case. Anyone know?

I did not see the call in question, but I believe the defense can be penalized delay of game for calling out hut hut, or go go. Basically, if they try to yell the QB's cadence for the purpose of trying to get an offensive player to jump, that can be penalized.
Not sure if that was the reason for the call but that is a rule.

You're right.
http://blog.49ers.com/On 3rd and 4, the Vikings defense was called for a delay of game for trying to get the offensive player to false start.
Kind of a d'bag move to do that.
