I made a joke in the GT about how the offensive line thinks that their main job involves some form of cake or pie. After the Omiyale and Pace Comedy Hour, it may actually be.

The lost is ENTIRELY on the Redzone Execution.

I swear, it's like they're trying to write a book on What not to do in the Redzone.

Chapter 1: Don't throw a pick.
Chapter 2: Don't fumble the ball.
Chapter 3: Don't get penalized.

Everyone's to blame in this lost. Coaching, Matt Forte, Jay Cutler, Special Teams, Offensive Line, Defense(in some spurts).

Scratch that: good game Devin.

Somethings not right with Forte, he looks totally out of it

Worst game from Bears special teams i've seen in a while

The O-line is bad but Forte looks to be a 1 year wonder. He had one nice game against the Lions but has been absolute **** in all the other games. We have so many glaring holes and we're still 3-2.

The Cutler haters will be out in full force this week yet he outplayed Matt Ryan.

The o-line is the biggest joke in the NFL.

Redzone offense is a diz-diz-diz-diz-DISASTER

Frank Omiyale is getting blown up regularly. Rest of the Oline is pretty subpar.

Instead of trading that pick, we should have gotten a decent O-lineman. Anything other than Frank Omiyale

I say we replace Frank with Beekman. I mean seriously. instead of trading our pick for a 56th DE, we might wanna look at finding a competent lineman

We had two redzone turnovers

We gave up a touchdown on a drive where the other team punted but we had twelve men on the field

We give up multiple fifty-yard kickoff returns

We go offsides on 4th and 1 at the end of the game

When you are your own worst enemy, good luck beating any decent team in its own stadium.

I know Beekman is supposed to be the future C, but get Omiyale out of there. How many times did they show the pass rush blowing right through him?

o yeah, and we're now 2.5 games behind the Vikings and we fall behind the pack as well in the standings. ATL now has a leg up in the wildcard race as well. Huge huge loss

I never understood why Angelo didn't just leave Williams at LT...especially to sign someone as old as Orlando Pace. Didn't he have to wonder if Pace had regressed a little after missing like 25 games the last 3 years? Didn't he learn his lesson after bringing the corpse of Adam Archuletta here to play safety? Why do we constantly trade down in the 1st day every year when guys like Phil Loadholt(starting RT for Vikes)are on the board?

The Omiyale signing also blows...but atleast we have some form of a backup plan in Beekman who wasn't terrible last year.

Can we bring in O-line Coach Dennison from Denver to become the 0-Coordinator right now please.

Oh yeah.

Ryan exposes Nick Roach's inexperience at playing MLB, and having to be the one who makes adjustments. Roach made some athletic plays out there at times, but then you can look at that fiasco with Roddy White in the 2nd quarter. 2 Bears on one side, 3 Falcons. He's showing blitz, then he runs over to White, the 2 Falcon players take out the Bears players, and Roddy White is home free before anyone can do anything.

Somebody has to say something, if the assignments aren't matching up

Offensive line really killed this game. They couldn't block the base 4 man rush of Atlanta (which had a conference worse eight sacks coming into this game) and they killed momentum all night. I don't know what people want Jay Cutler to do, but he couldn't hit open receivers a lot of the time because he didn't get a chance to stay in and see them. Cutler, in the o-line's defense, did miss a couple of throws, but the offensive line was putrid.

Matt Forte, you almost wonder how can he be THIS BAD when last year he was THAT GOOD. Is it teams figured him out? I don't know? But you have to be concerned with this split: In 20 career games, 11 games he hasn't cracked 3.5 yards a carry in that game. Here are some troubling stats if you find Matt Forte the future of the team...

In the 11 games Forte averages <3.5 YPC, Bears are 8-3
In the 10 games Forte averages >3.5 YPC, Bears are 4-7

Forte's numbers throwing out four career games against Detroit/St Louis:
17 games, Bears are 8-9, 332 carries (19.5 a game), 1080 yards (63.5 yards a game), Bears are 8-9 and Forte has only 5 TD.

I seriously believe the Bears need to have conversations that Matt Forte isn't nearly the franchise type running back they thought (they thought he was a capable starter on a playoff team, I am not so sure). Look the line definitely gets some blame in all of this, its just how much is the line and how much is him at this point?

Three people can play MLB: Urlacher, Hillenmeyer, Briggs

The Bears might be worse talent wise with Briggs in the middle, but I can guarantee he does a MUCH better job of recognition and alignment then Roach did. All three Atlanta TD's were on plays that Roach didn't have the defense lined up right OR he wasn't personally in the right spot.

This is the type of game that is so painful to swallow. Everything was self inflicted...every damn thing. The Falcons D wasnt impressive. Cutler absolutely gifted them 2 td's. The special teams miscues, the d missing assignments. This was just a comedy of errors

I know Forte isn't supposed to be super explosive, but he's supposed to be able to grind it out.

He's young, but he's handled tons of carries over his years at Tulane, and he handled the bulk of Chicago's offense last year. One would hope, he isn't running on tired legs already, but so far he looks like he's a half a step slower this year

Cutler gifted them two TD's? One of those was a 95 yard drive for a TD. It was a horrible interception inside the red zone but the defense has to step up and stop them.
