if they lose this weekend I really will explode--literally - like that old spontaneous combustion segment on the show Ripley's Believe it or Not. Game ends and **Poof*** .....Wow Look at that....Emperor Jones is engulfed in flames ....
So if the Bears lose this weekend how will you react?

Walter Payton will roll over in his grave.
He is being honored at halftime for the 10 year anniversary of his death. Hard to believe it's been 10 years.
Rest in Peace Sweetness.

If we lose this game, Cliff Levingston will shake his head in disgust and disappointment.

Oh I'm past the exploding point in my life. Pre-wife and kids I've ruined so many remotes, walls, and doors in anger it's not even funny. Usually if the Bears are sucking, I'll always have the next year's crop of draft prospects to immerse myself into and obviously I won't have that to look forward to.
Instead of getting mad, I'll just shrug it off and give the Bulls more of my time. And *maybe* my family.
Maybe.

I'm having enough trouble getting myself motivated to watch this game. If we win in a blowout, it's because Cleveland sucks. If we squeak by them, then we know we suck. If they beat us, then we have 9 more games of lame duck football to watch, as Lovie should be out after the season.

Frankly, I'm more excited to watch the Viking-Packer game.

If the Bears go 6-10 and have to give up a decent pick to Denver (that is still somewhere like 8-12), the Bears might fire Lovie, hire Jon Gruden to be the offensive head coach and then sign Brandon Marshall, Marlin Jackson and WInston Justice. Draft Myron Rolle and go forward this team:
Offense:
QB Cutler, Hanie
RB Forte, Cadillac Williams, Peterson, McKie
WR Marhsall, Hester, Bennett, Knox
TE Clark, Olsen, Davis
OT Williams*, Justice*, Shaffer
OG Beekman*, Garza*, Draft Pick
C Kreutz, Mannelly
Defense:
DT Harris*, Harrison*, Adams, Idonjie
DE Adams*, Brown, Gilbert, Melton
OLB Briggs*, Roach*, Williams, Draft Pick
MLB Urlacher, Hillenmeyer
CB Tillman*, Jackson*, Bowman, Moore
S Vasher*, Afalava*, Manning, Rolle
K Gould
P Maynard
Note: 45 man active roster only

I think Anderson is starting at QB for them. But what's the difference? Quinn is probably better.

This team's going nowhere this year.
The fallout from a loss will be fun to witness.
Likewise i don't want anybody pretending that this team is "on track" if we end up beating up on the Browns
