WEFFPIM's Tidbits - Bears Edition
-As most of you know, I spend a great deal of time on this website as a member of the Bucks and Brewers board, which means many of my e-friends will probably be stopping by this weekend to see the potential hilarity ensue from this game thread. Just wanna say hi to all, and I love you all like brothers I've never met in my life, nor have the intention of ever meeting.
-You watching the Blackhawks yet? I mean, seriously, they're playing like garbage right now and still winning. I mean, seriously, swallow your pride and your possible hatred for Eddie Olcyzk and watch for f***'s sake.
-When Lovie Smith was hired, the first thing he said he wanted to do was to beat the Packers twice a season, and my God did the meatballs eat that up. He's failed once this season in hilarious fashion (see: NFL Challenge Rule), who knows what epic mistakes will occur in this one.
-Our broadcasters for this game is Thom Brennamann and Brian Billick. A guy who makes baseball boring and an analyst who once said in a Packer-Niner game this season, "Ryan Grant was shot out of a canyon on that run." Enjoy.
-Game forecast: cold and desolate. Weather forecast: chilly and wintry. Sod forecast: frozen solid and still a piece of crap.
-Should I really try and analyze this game? I mean, what's there to analyze? The Packers have the best defense in the league and the Bears' offense could barely muster 17 points against the Rams. The fact this spread is only 3 points right now is an insult to good teams across the globe.
-Despite all of this irrelevance to this game I am still attending a Bear-Packer party at my family's house. My father and my sister and Packer fans, my mom and I are Bear fans, so it's been a tradition every season (if you wanna hear the story of my odd sports fandom you can ask). I actually got to see the season opening abortion in person, at least now I can laugh my ass off with other Bear fans.
That's all I got. Good Luck, Jay...Lord knows you'll need it...and Go Bears.
