Josh Gordon to potentially avoid year-long ban?

Post#1 » by InfraRen » Sat Jul 26, 2014 1:24 am

Dynamic Cleveland Browns Wide Receiver Josh Gordon has been in the news quite a bit this summer. In the off-season, that is rarely a good thing. After repeat slip-ups violating the NFL’s drug policy, Gordon has been rumored to be sentenced to a year-long ban from the gridiron.

Today though, word has leaked (via Chris Mortenson on NFL Live) that there may have been an elusive discovery uncovered that “some around the league” think a technicality could get Gordon on the field this season after all.

We can definitely hope for the team and his own sake that it's not for the whole season. If it isn't then that means he can still be around the team and working with team personnel for help, which he clearly needs. if he is gone for the season I hope someone close to him steps up and helps him stay out of trouble. Here's looking at you Justin Blackmon.

Things really starting to get interesting (and encouraging for Gordon) now:
