I just want to say mark prior was my hero in 2003 and if we let him go after the 08' season i'll be devastated and cry my pants out. I still think we need to give him a shot.. if wade miller can get another chance he should.

Is there any truth to the idea that Prior doesn't play well with pain? I loved Prior in 03 and then all these rumors started. I don't want to believe them but it's hard to explain away the last four years. There were some freak injuries but after a while you have to wonder.

Nothing wrong with that. I feel the same way. The guy is f'n 27 years old. Some guys come into the league at 27 and still have fabulous careers. What a bonus it would be if he was even 75% of what he was in '03. 12-14 games a year isn't bad for a 4th or 5th starter.
Now think if he was 100%. 16-19 games a year.
Note: I did say BONUS.
The full out hope is gone, now its more like a cheer for a guy with a sad start to a promising career.
