Can we/should we make a run for Lance Briggs

Briggs still in Chicago

I know alot of us have stessed heavily that defense is the number one priority this offseason, and Briggs is the definition of Defense.

I would personally offer a deal that would give up Rudi Johnson for Briggs and possibly a late draft pick. Chicago lost Thomas Jones and Cedric Benson has yet to prove himself as a solid NFL RB.

I think it almost goes without saying that Cincinnati should make a play for Briggs.

BUT what's his asking price? If I'm in the FO I start with a 3rd rounder and go from there. He'd probably shake the draft strategy up quite a bit but he'd DEFINITELY be a needed commodity in this defense.

we should offer a deal but we can't give up too much. giving away rudi johnson way way way too much.

Rudi? :o

Not a chance.

We should definitly make a run for him. Maybe our first and fourth for Briggs and Bears first and 3rd?

Or is it not enough?
