If Boss can come out and be productive, I think its one less thing to worry about. We can address real needs in the draft. Alot of mocks have us taking Desean Jackson. I say, we start bulking up the trenches on both sides. Depending on what DT/LT is available at 12. I think, the DT position is more important at this point than the LT.
It was brutal watching teams run all over us last year. You get a balanced DT that can stop the run, and who knows how long we could go. One thing about last years draft is we didn't draft a DE that can stop the run. They are all finesse, the only thing they can do is rush the passer.
I would prefer gap guys, so they can let the Linebackers roam free. Defense wins Superbowls. We are set in the secondary and linebackers. Just need to bulk up the DL. OL needs work too. Cutler is capable of putting a team on his back. He reminds me of Favre so much.
Also, it is a lot harder to find a great OT/DT than a specialty like RB/WR.
