I'm sure even if he plays he will see more minutes than Iverson. :)

Yeah but someone is going to get snubbed, someone like Roy most likely...And that shouldn't be happening because Roy is having a better season leading his team then AI.

How exactly is Roy doing a better job "leading" the team?

AI has a team that can contend yeah in and out in the west. But Portland is a team that is filled with youngsters, they look like they will be a very good team in the next 2-3 years, but this year everyone was doubting them. Just look at what Roy and Aldrige have done to that team, I mean what a 13 game winning streak they had? they are in position to make the playoffs...thats the main reason I think Roy is doing the better job, even though AI is and always will put up impressive stats, but stats don't always tell the story ;)

He needs to rest and focus on getting the team going.

Easy TMU. This is a good thing for everyone. He doesn't deserve to go. He knows it...we know it.

He gets to rest his knee and in his words..."salvage our season" in after the break. This is a good thing.

How is this any bad ?

He wasn't keen to go there on the first place. Now, he is hurt anyway, so it's probably better that he is not going.

Smart move, I reckon.
