No, I disagree. He most certainly does not know how to play the game at the NBA level, nor is he mentally tough enough for the NBA. Let's not give him more credit than he deserves.

Since no one is a NBA coach here. I'm just telling you guys what I learn at work.

I manage an small IT company that slowly grew to around 20 people now, every 6 months or so, we start getting fresh graduates to join the team. Since there is a big difference between colleges and the commercial world, they in general all sucked. Some seemed to be able to slot in quicker but were never managed to get into any of the senior roles, some were absolutely horrible for a whole year but suddenly switched on and became leaders of teams.

I have seen my recruits come and go for 7 years now. What I learnt is that, these young people, when joining the work force, will give you a whole world of pain, but you simply have to let them make the stupid mistakes, once, twice, 3 months, 6 months. I had to correct their mistakes over and over again, you just can
