After making the trade for Gerald Green, it made me think, what if we made a run at TJ Ford in the Off-Season. Another Houston Kid who would make a bigger impact than Green obviously. Alston is getting into his 30's now, and Francis will be gone. It was just a thought, because it's nothing we really need to worry about now.
Could it be possible or no?

first off i never said i wanted him. it was just an opinion do to the fact that he's from Houston and when healthy he's a pretty solid B-ball player. Alston is getting older and thought maybe he could be a possible replacement if Brooks isnt it. My BAD

My bad. Defending trades puts me in a very defensive and dismissive mood (somehow!). I saw "TJ Ford" and barely glanced at the rest (not really SOP for me, but I've had far too many frustrating arguments about that guy).
TJ Ford would still be a very notgood idea. Aside from his fragility, which is enough in and of itself, he has a moderately big contract (that could go south at any time). His shooting isn't that great either (though not horrible).
