Post#1 » by LakersSquad » Sun Mar 9, 2008 4:58 am

Are you kidding me? Congrats guys I'm proud of your team and mines as well. Oh yea I'm also proud of the Hornets. I guess the face of the contenders out west will change now.

We are for today at least. This changes every night like how you guys always swapping the #1 seed with SA after every game it seems. Great run..the thing about this year's West is a lower seed will upset a top a seed in the first round.

No offense, but this thread needs to be deleted. This can come back and jinx our team...

I think he is just saying we are the 3rd seed. Not that we'll finish 3rd.

We have to take full advantage of the teams we'll be playing next week. Win all 3 games and we'll see if we can seriously hold that 3rd seed.

Heck yes! Good job guys on dethroning the Hornets. You know how my team, the Jazz, are really starving on first rounds, and we wouldn't mind devouring some hornets.

Impressive guys, beaten our expectation from Utah since we last beat you in January.

Man the west is so damn good this year or is the east that bad? I have T-mac second on my MVP list moving CP3 to 3rd after tonight.

With all due respect to the Lakers' fans, you guys have your own thing going on.

Stay away from ours and we'll stay away from yours.

Nah Mac isn't a serious MVP candidate. I would say top 6 or top 7 but definitely not top 5 or top 3.

Yea possibly but we all know things like this end when you least expect em. Everyone is expecting it to end next Sunday against LA...it'll probably end against Atlanta in Atlanta later this week.

Both. The West is as stacked as I've ever seen it. The thought that a team could possibly win 50 games and miss the playoffs is pretty unreal.

On the other hand, the East is horrible. I can only see 4 teams that are even worth paying attention to, and only 3 of them are what I'd consider real contenders(Detroit/Boston/Cleveland).
We watched the tragedy unfold. We did as we were told, we bought and sold. It was the greatest show on Earth...but then it was over.

You really think some random Laker fan on the internet can change the outcome of a pro basketball team? Taking this jinxing stuff too serious.

This guy keeps making threads congratulating the Rockets and Lakers, or Hornets and Lakers, or just the Lakers itself.

LOL, it's true, some people here exaggerate too much this thing, we should NOT be arrogants because we don't even have a playoff spot for sure, but what we say don't have to do anything with basketball in real life.

You're cool dude, it's just Rockets fans are worried about jinxing the streak. I don't know if I believe in that, but I'd be lying if I said it wasn't on my mind.
