I doubt the standings stay the same. It only takes 2 or 3 losses against other western conference rivals to shuffle the seeds from 1 to 8 or to be knocked out of the playoffs completely. The only thing you can do is keep winning, so you don't get eliminated.

it's too early to think ahead (the race is too tight)
just win as many as we can to gain our confidence
