Much much too early for Sam Cassell. Championship teams alone, he shouldn't even be on the list before Otis Thorpe, Vernon Maxwell, Robert Horry or Kenny Smith let alone some of these other guys. Hell, you can make an argument for Mario Elie over Cassell.


If you where talking bout championships alone I would say Horry, but I would put Cassell over Horry.

I'm not trying to diminish what Sam did in his 3 years. I just think that Horry did more in his 4. They both were clutch as hell, but as far as Rockets careers, I think Horry should rank higher. Overall careers statistically it is Cassell no doubt although Nobody can touch Horry on the number of championship rings.
