I've been on the Hinrich bus ever since the rumors that his days as a Bull might be numbered. Once Chicago won the lottery, I figured they'd draft Rose and have been hoping that Morey can go out and get him. A lot of people on the board who call for an upgrade at PG don't realize that high-caliber PGs in the NBA are not available. They're pretty much all not obtainable from their respective teams. So when a guy who can nail 3s, score the basketball, pass the basketball, and defend with the best of them like Kirk Hinrich is available, then I think it's an absolute must to pursue him.

Oui.

Just too bad we can't get both him and Artest, ain't it? I'm losing sleep at nights over this. : cough :
Morey 2020.

Q:How are they experts when they're always wrong?
A:Ask a stock market analyst or your financial advisor

I'd love to have hinrich. he's not a pure playmaking PG, we don't need him to be one. He's tough-nosed on defense which is great for us. He's shown to hit the outside shot. Also, I'm more and more excited about dorsey after learning his standing reach (which is way more impot than hiehgt).

To all the guys that want Hinrich , don't lose sleep over it because Feigen from the chron repeatedly said that it's a long shot we chase him with that contract.
And the managment doesn't see Rafer as a liability anymore.

We are focusing on getting a scorer with size at the 2/3 off the bench.

Nah, I've also said I won't lose any sleep over it if we don't. Considering I had the salary argument for a long time myself, I'm not surprised that it's still a problem with them if it is, and like I pointed out in another thread before, we probably can't get a good sf/sg backup AND Hinrich. I just think it looks like a good idea, not necessarily the best one.
