I think I did overreact to his contract a little. Truth is though, unless he improves some more, in spite of being the second best center in the east (not saying too much considering the weakness of the position), he's going to hold his team back against the cap. If he had been an acquired piece at that salary instead of a foundational one I wouldn't have thought it as rash. If he improves a bit he could be worth his contract though, I can't admit to having seen him play.
