I just dont see why they would cut him over mike harris when we didnt have any wing players on the bench to sub for shane and mac.

Tonight's game: 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist. Ho-hum.

Green is working hard to get on a team. However, he has not shown a desire to keep working on hard, after he gets on the team. That's why he has moved from team to team. He's not the first player to have a lot of potential and waste it.

17 points in a summer league game is nothing to start at thread over, especially when that was by far his best game. Then on top of that, the guys that were mentioned have had better summer leagues than Green. The guy we should complain about is that bum Loren Woods. They elected to retain him over Green and as crazy as that may seem, that is a big slap in the face in regards to showing you how much they thought about Gerald's ability to even become a player worthy of warming the bench for this team.
You have to have basketball smarts to run Adelman's system and they obviously didn't see him as a fit here. I wish him the best and hope he can turn his career around, but just remember, they thought Loren Woods, yeah that tall, lanky, bum had a better chance of sticking here and deemed Head, Novak and Harris as better players and I'm not one to argue with the coach. Green has a long way to go to even reach Stromile Swift's level of disappointment in regards to talent/potential vs. production. He is Harold Miner 2.0 at the moment.

he's better than luther head, thats for sure. this kid has all the tools to be great, the only question is will he put it all together.
i really do not see why the guy keeps getting cut. he plays well enough when he gets opportunities. there are players a lot worse than him who are not being cut.

Apparently the people who matter don't think he is better than Luther Head. Sad...
