He was too short anyway. And his knee looks like something that will recur and without his athleticism he is worthless. We are gonna be fine. Dorsey can replace him. We just need to find ourselves a center...something we should have been doing all off-season regardless of what happens with Landry.

That's interesting how overseas restricted FAs are pretty much like unrestricted FAs. I'm not really all that sold on oversea interest in Landry though.

I will miss that guy if he leaves =/ Oh well save us some money to sign someone that can put us over the top. I wouldn't really care if everyone except Alston, tmac, Yao, and battier leave if it will give us a chance at landing a player that can help us win a championship. I'm tired of this drought and will still be saying the same thing even if we get past the first round. I want a chip, period.

I dont think some of yall understand how good nba players are. While he may be an average up and coming player over here he could be a star over there. I'm sure they are interested in him. Watch how good childress is when he gets to greece.

Wow.

Carl Landry could maybe do worse for his financial future is he got Master P to handle his deal.

Nice find.

Honestly, i know not many people would agree, but i was hoping that he could possibly be our starting PF. Scola i thought seemed better to be a backup F/C. I really hope we bring him back. He was an ESPN top 10 guy for us. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JcGkb3V8CaY&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o9GtbR2LG6o&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sxrKW1GzF9s&feature=related
just my thought though.

Scola would be better as the starter.. Landry is the energy guy off the bench.. more emotions, and while they both fit well next to Yao I think Scola would be better IMO.

It'll suck if both of our PFs bolt for Europe.

Yeah I had a good feeling this was the case. I really hope Landry realized how odd his agent has approached these contract issues....and gets rid of him. It isn't normal to have your agent discussing your team situation every week, and this latest incident of him jumping on the 'jet to Europe' kick is just strange.
