Yao is soft. Yao is an idiot. And made idoitic comments. Who knows...maybe I would react differently if Mac said it. But he didn't. Yao said it...so we'll never know. All I know is that Yao made idioitic comments that pissed off the missing piece to our championship puzzle. If this trade doesn't go down you better believe Les Alexander is releasing him regardless of the money he makes him. At the end of the day we still don't gross as much with Yao as the Lakers or the Knicks or the Bulls or even the Mavs gross. And thats because we aren't successful.

You're just kidding yourself. Les would drive Artest back to Sacramento if Yao says he doesn't want Ron here. But i dont see that as an issue. Yao is concerned about chemistry but that's just his personality. He's always cautious. And he said some regrettable things that he probably should've kept to himself. But thats all in the past. I'm glad Ron and Yao are over it.

Iggy is just going through his usual routine of overreaction and bantering. Nothing to see here.

Hopefully Yao's comments don't effect chemistry with team.

... I have to find a way to talk to him and see what we can do as a basketball team. He has a history, but we know he is a physical player. He is a good player. He really can help us.”

His original comment about the brawl, the way he said it makes it sound like he was being sarcastic or joking. His concerns w/ chemistry isn't bad at all, you could say that about any player joining any team. Not to mention the fact the Rox thrived on chemistry last year. Yao's a smart guy, under the immense amount of pressure and scrutiny by media of both countries since day one, he's yet to say anything that you'd cringe or think is stupid. Makes me think if he was just trying to joke, or if the interview was with a close reporter and was completely taken with the wrong meaning or out of context. I agree though, the best thing Yao could've done was just to welcome Artest with open arms and say how much he loves him.... a la starbury after finding out zack randolph's trade to the knicks..

Chemistry means absolutely nothing and is overstated when it doesn't get you out of the first round of the playoffs. Nothing at all. I couldn't care less if they all invite each other to their kid's birthday parties or play video games together prior to games when the end result is so disappointing year after year.

I'll beg to differ. I don't care if they hang out out side of basketball and like each other's jokes, but chemistry on court is pretty important. Chemistry alone doesn't get you anywhere, but neither does talent.

This team has had "great" chemistry for 4 years. JVG even said so his second year here(T-Mac's first) that this was a great group of guys and he had never been around a closer knit group. That was the group with Sura, Jon Barry, Juwan, David Wesley, etc. They were all about chemistry. We have heard about how much these guys like each other for 4 years and what do we have to show for it? 3 first round exits and a lottery pick for not making the playoffs.

To be fair, I did say chemistry is nothing w/o talent, and the reverse is true as well. Sura, JB, Juwan, and Wesley, these guys can have more chemistry than a chemistry PhD and still not get past the first round  ... no offense to these guys, all good guys, lol.
