I agree about Isaiah, but TD and Sir Charles are certainly not overrated and belong in the top 10 easily.

Also, don't ever speak badly of Milk Dud Head. That's a turrble thing to do...it upsets me and my crackhead panda.

Although Milk Duds themselves actually are turrble. Go figure..

Nah, didn't say TD and Chuck were overrated too, just that they aren't top 10. TD would be closer than Chuck, and you could make a really good case for him to be in it (really, I shouldn't have put him on there since the notion isn't ridiculous, even though I don't think he belongs there), I just think he's right outside of it, almost certainly top 20 though.

I think moofs is pretty much dead on. However, I do think Tim Duncan is a Top 10 player considering that he's won 4 championships.

My list:

1. Michael Jordan
- Basketball is a big men's game. It's almost impossible for a SG win 6 championships and dominate the league for an entire decade. Greatest scorer of all-time, one of best perimeter defenders of all-time. Basketball's God.
2. Bill Russell
- 11 championship rings. Greatest defender of all-time, best passing big man of all-time. Intangibles, leadership, you name it.
3. Wilt Chamberlain
- Unstoppable but just couldn't beat Bill Russell (even when he was traded to the Lakers).
4. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
- Was an elite player for two decades. A rare case.
5. Larry Bird
- 3 championships. One of the toughest players on the court. Extremely underrated as a defender. Got the better hand against Magic Johnson's Lakers.
6. Magic Johnson
- Bird's counterpart. Greatest PG to ever play the game.
7. Hakeem Olajuwon
- Probably the most versatile center to ever play the game. 2nd best defender of all-time. Underrated scorer but it's unfortunate that he was underutilized.
8. Shaquille O'Neal
- Uber talented, but was one of the laziest players I have ever seen. Falls short from surpassing Hakeem.
9. Jerry West
- Playoffs juggernaut. Big time scorer who would have averaged close to 40 ppg with the 3-point line. The only Finals MVP from a losing team.
10. Tim Duncan
- Boring but 4 championships. Is a heck of a defender. Is cerebral.

Others: Oscar Robertson, Julius Erving, Moses Malone, Karl Malone, Walt Frazier.

It blows my mind how overrated Bill Walton is.

Scottie mother **** Pippen in the top 10 of all time. Some of you guys need to do some research before you guys say things like that. JordansBulls is correct first 6 are:
MJ
Wilt
Russell
KAJ
Magic
Bird

And no one meaning NO ONE can break through those 6.

Shaq
Hakeem
Duncan
West
Oscar
Moses

Those sound about right for top 10 of all time Moses/Karl Malone and others can be counted but don't quite make the list IMO.

I still think you have to put Karl Malone in there somewhere. Yeah, it's hard to determine who to get rid of, but Malone was good for 25 and 10 for over a decade and hardly missed a game. Not to mention that the guy is the second leading scorer in league history.

I'd have to leave Malone off for the same reason I'd leave Barkley off and that you held against Kobe. Malone both choked and let his teams choke when it mattered most.

One thing about TD that he did have on Hakeem, who pretty well edges him out in every stat but rings, is his knowledge of team defense. Hakeem was a pinnacle individual and weak side defender, but not as great, via interviews from teammates (I believe, Clyde), at knowing where everyone should be at any time, and helping make sure that's where they were as well.
