Jove9,
At least Houston didn't trade away the future PG and draft picks for a washed up PG :)

Seriously , Harris gave us so much problems with his defense and quickness , Kidd I am not sure he is even better than Rafer.
“He didn’t miss?” , “That’s fantastic. That’s tremendous. I wish I could have a day like that. I dream of the day I could go 12-for-12.”-Rafer Alston

Brooks was inconsistent
that's why we went out and get BJax

I am with you. Francis went down, so he doesn't even count.

However, we did have other PGs on the team. We traded Mike James for BJax. I think we got Bjax because of his contract primarily. Bjax isn't a helluva lot better than James. Man, what a sexy expiring contract though.

Update on Iranian C Hamed Hadadi:

Today facing Argentina (I imagine going against either Scola or Oberto), he had 21 points (7-15 shooting, 7-10 from the FT line), 16 rebounds, and 1 block.

His averaged through these Olympics so far are: 16 ppg, 10 rpg, 2.5 bpg

Against Russia: 9/8/2
Against Lithuania: 21/9/4
Against Australia: 15/8/3
Against Argentina: 21/16/1

Wow. Has anyone actually seen him play?

I wonder if he's active and mobile or just another tall stiff....

what's the age limit that you can sign as a free agent without going throught the draft?

Hadadi has numerous offers from NBA clubs and stated he will sign for a club after he competes for Iran at the 2008 Summer Olympics.[2]

I don't care who it is as long as it's not the Lakers or Mavericks.

Will Buford really give the full MLE to an unproven player?

No doubt they need youth, but it's not like the Spurs to overpay someone.

If Haddadi wants money, he'll probably go somewhere else.

Yahoo article on Iranian guy. His NBA dream just hit a slight snag. Also a youtube video.

He looks very polished offensively, but with teams going to speed at every position he might struggle in this league. If he had a year or so in the gym, he'd be a lot better defensively also (as he looks too lean). He's young so I hope he gets his chance in the league.

We forget how lucky we are to live in the U.S. Don't take it for granted guys b/c there's tons of countries waiting to take that away from us.

There's tons of countries trying to get you to move?

Heck, with the economy as it is, Europe isn't looking too shabby right now. There's a reason why Kobe and Lebron both said that they would leave the NBA if the price were right.

And China will be a MAJOR player this century. Start brushing up on your mandarin, bub. You're going to need it soon.

Firefly <3

Also like Jove said, the countries that are "waiting" to take our fortune of living here away have actually already done so. Oh wait, in reality it was done by our own people. Ah poop.

You can watch Hadadi go up against Oberto, Scola, and Nocioni here in the rewind of the Iran-Argentina game; most of his damage comes after a scoreless first quarter:
